Lean Security
A New Chapter
Hey there, it’s been a while!
Over the past few months, I’ve been deep in rethinking what modern security should look like.
The short version? I’m transitioning from SimplyCubed, a traditional consulting model, to something far leaner, smarter, and more scalable: Lean Security.
Why Lean Security
Security shouldn’t slow you down.
Lean Security is about building systems, not bureaucracy. It’s a set of frameworks that make protection automatic, reduce waste, and scale without complexity. Less friction. More protection.
Instead of massive audits and endless checklists, Lean Security applies lean principles and automation to focus only on what truly matters: protecting value without blocking progress.
The Bigger Picture
What started as a book idea has evolved into a complete framework, a way of thinking about security as a system, not a service.
It’s the foundation that would later evolve into what I now call FounderOS, a broader set of principles for building secure, automated, and self-sustaining businesses.
FounderOS grew out of this same mindset: design systems that work for you, combining the precision of security with the leverage of automation.
I’m Writing the Book
I’m putting everything I’ve learned into a book called Lean Security, a practical guide to building protection into your operations without slowing down your business.
The first chapter is nearly ready, and I’d love your feedback. If you want a sneak peek, just reach out, your thoughts will help shape the final version.
Let’s Chat
What’s the biggest challenge you’re facing when balancing security and speed?
How are you integrating automation or AI into your security processes?
Drop a comment, reply, or send a message, I’m always open to connecting.
🚀 Here’s to the next chapter, building systems that secure and scale themselves.

Sounds great Charles! There’s so many tools out there now and some organizations think they need them all. I’m very interested to hear your perspective.
