Hi, I’m Charles Green
For nearly two decades I worked in Japan’s fintech and tech scene. I started as a hands-on engineer and worked my way up to leading teams as a CTO and CISO.
In 2019, after burning out in a role that paid well and cost me too much, I rebuilt my life around one idea: freedom through systems.
Rather than chase scale by adding headcount, I started building secure, automated systems. The kind that move data, drive growth, and give you your time back without wrecking everything in the process.
What I’m Building
These days I run a handful of companies focused on AI automation and security. The work is mostly the same shape: helping businesses do complex, valuable work without burning people out to get it done.
The main one is SimplyCubed, my AI automation studio. We build custom AI agents that take over the repetitive work eating a team’s week, like lead qualification, support, and operations. Each one is trained on your data and wired into the tools you already use.
Philosophy
Security isn’t only about defense. Done right, it’s what lets a team move fast without bracing for the thing that breaks.
Most of what I build comes back to three habits. I keep the foundations lean, so they stay simple to run as they grow. I hand the repetitive, draining work to AI. And I build security in from the start, because bolting it on after something goes wrong never really holds.
